The color comes from titanium nitride (NOT titanium dioxide), a metal compound known for its safety. It is biocompatible, chemically inert, and stable under harsh conditions, making it ideal for biomedical devices and food-contact applications. Our process involves no extra chemical coatings, paints, or powder coatings. We care deeply about children’s health and chose this process for its safety!
The PVD process vaporizes titanium and deposits it onto the stainless steel, creating a durable, safe layer. The core remains 100% stainless steel."
