Why it made my list
If your kids like traditional bento-style lunch boxes, this is one of the better alternatives I've found. Instead of food sitting directly in plastic, it sits primarily in a stainless steel tray. While it isn't completely plastic-free, I like that it offers a familiar design while reducing food contact with plastic.
