When researching water bottles, one thing I paid attention to was what materials are in contact with the water throughout the day. Many straw bottles use plastic straws, but the BrüMate Rise features a stainless steel straw, helping reduce the amount of plastic sitting in contact with your drink.

I also like that the straw stays covered when not in use. For kids tossing water bottles into backpacks, lunch bags, and sports bags, that's a feature I like to see. The insulated stainless steel construction is another plus for helping keep water cold throughout the school day.
