I have had a wonderful experience with this mat! I also tested it and will share the videos below so you can see how it works. Being outside and grounding is the best option but if you tend to spend a lot of time indoors, I think it's necessary to ground.

All you have to do is plug the cord into the bottom hole (grounding hole) of your plug! its important to make sure your house is grounded correctly for it to work properly
