My favorite mascara and the one I personally use. It wears all day without flaking, layers well, and has better ingredients than most mascaras I’ve tried. ➡️ Ilia does conduct heavy metal testing on pigmented products, but it is done internally rather than through a third‑party lab. They test for lead, mercury, cadmium, arsenic, and antimony using supplier documentation and regulatory review, but the results are not publicly shared.

➡️ The brown shade contains titanium dioxide and it isn’t clear whether it’s nano or non‑nano. I personally avoid nano titanium dioxide, so I stick with the black version.
