Incandescent light bulbs were banned in the USA on August 1, 2023 due to "energy efficiency". What this means is that they're no longer sold in the USA and you won't find them in stores once they're all gone. They can still be found in other countries... so you can order them on Amazon!
Why incandescent light bulbs?
The reason i recommend incandescent light bulbs is because we're starting to learn the effects of how light can affect our health. Incandescent light bulbs are at a full spectrum balance which means they're the closest to natural light. Think of your eyes as sensors on your body.. we wake with the morning sun, we go to bed with the sun, and we get moon light where we are getting specific hues of lights in our eyes that regulate our circadian rhythm.
Let's check out some information about LED lights:
"LED lights flicker, but the flicker is so fast that it's not noticeable to the human eye. However, some people claim that the flicker causes headaches and seizures. Flickering LED lights can also cause eyestrain, and can cause TVs and monitors to turn off or jitter"
Made in China, they're banned in the USA
