My Review

I added this as a Better in-store option, not a perfect option due to it being ECF opposed to TCF (read below about this). It's budget-friendly, easy to find in stores, and more accessible than many cleaner diaper brands. I use these for my own baby and while she has very sensitive skin, she hasn't had any issues with them. They're super soft and hold really well. For reference, I do have a larger baby. -Destiny

Things to Consider

When choosing diapers, I look for brands that avoid ingredients such as phthalates, parabens, bisphenols (BPA), PFAS, flame retardants, acrylic acid, acrylamide, and tributyl-tin (TBT). I also prefer diapers without added fragrance, as fragrances can contain phthalates and other unnecessary ingredients.

I also pay attention to the bleaching process used for the wood pulp:

✅ TCF (Totally Chlorine Free)
TCF diapers use oxygen, ozone, or peroxide-based bleaching systems and do not use chlorine or chlorine derivatives.

⚠️ ECF (Elemental Chlorine Free)
ECF diapers use chlorine compounds during processing but are considered a step above conventional chlorine bleaching. I am generally comfortable with ECF diapers if the company provides testing or evidence showing no detectable chlorine byproducts or dioxins.

The topsheet is the layer that directly touches your baby's skin, which is why the overall diaper materials matter.
