When dealing with diabetes, it's important that we have something to help bring our son's blood sugar up when it gets too low. This honey has been a great alternative to the glucose tabs that are filled with preservatives and additives. I understand that using food to bring blood sugar up can take a little longer than using glucose tabs but when it's at the right number, this works well for us. This is NOT advice, this is just what we do for our 2 year old. He loves honey and the packets have 12g of carbs and it all depends on his blood sugar on how much we give him. But it seems to work quickly! We also have found these readily available in the stores. If it's not being used for lows, it's still a great honey and tastes good! -Destiny
